DOODY MECHANICAL WAS AWARDED THE CONTRACT FOR THE WESTIN GALLERIA HOTEL AND RESIDENCES IN EDINA, MINNESOTA

Westin Galleria Hotel and Residences, Edina, Minnesota

Doody Mechanical, Inc. was successful in the bid for the full mechanical scope of work for the upcoming 366,000 s.f. Westin Galleria Hotel and Residences project in Edina, Minnesota.

This project consists of 225 hotel rooms on floors 1-7 for the Westin Hotel portion and will feature 83 condo units that range from upper $300,000 range to about $1,800,000 on floors 8-18. In addition to the hotel and condo space, there will be a 70,000 s.f. parking structure for tenet and guest vehicles.

Work on this project is scheduled to start in the fall of 2006 to be completed by spring of 2008. Bob Chamberland (Sheet Metal) and Cory Breunig (Piping) will lead the project management efforts.

In addition to Doody Mechanical, Inc., Viking Automatic Sprinkler is working directly with Ryan Construction in provide the life safety and fire protection systems throughout the entire structure.

DOODY MECHANICAL, INC. IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE PHASE II EXPANSION OF ALLIANZ LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY

Doody Mechanical, Inc. is currently working on the Allianz Life Insurance Company phase II project in Golden Valley, Minnesota. Due to an increase in business Allianz has tripled it's production and doubled it's employees in the last five years. Because of this rapid growth Allianz has decided to expand their campus in order to increase efficiency and support the company's growth. The estimated completion date of the project is November 2006.

Doody Mechanical provided the mechanical systems on the phase I project, which consisted of, 400,000 sq. ft. of office space in their North American corporate headquarters. This project was completed in 2001.

The current project consists of 200,000 sq. ft. of office space with an auditorium, fitness center, data room and a link to the corporate building as well as a parking ramp addition.

Ground breaking for the parking ramp addition started May 4, 2005. Doody Mechanical is scheduled to install underground plumbing sometime in June or July. They are also scheduled to install a hot water heating and cooling system in the office space towards the end of 2005.
